I had a friend who used to beg me to move to Florida. Who would want to live there?!!! Way too humid. Lots of trashy people.Xpat73
Beneath the thin veneer of sun, fun and glitz on parts of the coast , Florida is just another southern red state with terrible schools, poverty, ignorance and red necks.Dart69Reply toXpat73
If Florida didn't have people retiring and bringing money they made elsewhere, they would be just another Mississippi Red state getting back $3.00 for every dollar they pay in federal tax s so they can pretend to have an economy. All the while whining about socialism.George
what a terrible place, with people that seem very lazy and have absolutely no pride in their environment. they should be totally embarrassed at where they live and their conditions. maybe instead of sitting around doing nothing they start to dress properly and then start to tidy up where they live. America how do you have the nerve to tell others how you live when you have such disgusting situations in your own country. maybe you should look at yourselves first and stop telling others how wonderful you are, because you're not!pvtcarlswifeReply toGeorge
should we actually post the pictures of the horrid living conditions in and around Shanghai? You are a seriously flawed, Florida is a beautiful state filled with beautiful HARD working ppl, most of those ppl have worked hard every single day of their lives to make a living. get over your selfwillie boy
Nightmare visions of life in Britain under a UKIP government, where the poor will have ABSOLUTELY nothing and the rich will have it all.janeyBB
As an American woman living in London I have to say that these were powerful images. I think Florida is the state of the US that Brits seem to visit most. They go there for the sunshine, beaches and to visit Disney Land. They see it as a holiday place and not somewhere with real issues. This shows that American has its own problems and can no longer keep looking after Britain too. You need to look to the EU and forge a future in Europe. These pictures say it all.pvtcarlswifeReply toJohnnyDeadwood
Johnny have you looked around your beautiful state of Kentucky especially near the Appalachians? Kentucky is an extremely poor state, with many beautiful things to offer as well, however with many many many areas just as you see above. you would not BELIEVE the horrid conditions I have seen in your state of Kentucky of animal abuse, dogs and horses living in filth, along with the people. Try again.OLIVIER 33
I'm under the impression that Americans are a tad miffed when there is a topic abt Poverty & destitution in their country ?
