Please tell me how this is okay for horses without cushings. Is it purely for vanity?SPerryReply tofigaro0314
Horses are often clipped in the winter if they do a lot of work as they get too hot, then their hair gets saturated with sweat which means they go cold quickly after. Clipping the hair off stops this happening, and they wear thick warm rugs when they are not working.liz
standing so close to a horses rear, could have dire consequences should he devide to kick out ...not a good place to be.Chris RReply toliz
Wrong! You should either stand very close or a long way away. It is inbetween where the most danger lies. Staying close prevents the horse get a good swing, so you might get kicked but it won't do as much damage. In any case you would only stand directly behind if you trust the horse, which in this case she clearly does.
