Knowing the reputation of the British, the Egyptians can say goodbye to this lotjaneyBB
As an American woman living in London I have to say I will certainly be going to see this exhibition. The British Museum is almost like a second home for me, and I love seeing its treasures. I have always been fascinated by the history and art of ancient Egypt. As a child I really wanted to see the pyramids and the valley of the kings, something I managed when i was 18 - they were as breathtaking as I had always dreamed. At my last office Party I even went dressed as Cleopatra, yes I know she is from the Greek Ptolemy era but there's no denying she was a true queen of Egypt. Anyway, as you can imagine, i really turned some heads in my costume. These ancient Egyptian robes and crowns really showed off my trim little figure. My Boss even called me his Queen of the Nile. It was a fun night.Kiernan
Talking about talent--remember the family from Bolton that made replicas and conned the 'experts' out of £thousands---modern day talent--just as good as the ancients.brightasabutton
Why is it the nose always seems to get broken off on "some" of the statues.
