The 'bio-lapse' film features a range of plants such as the Venus Flytrap, Purple Pitcher Plant, Fanged Pitcher-Plant and Cape Sundew.[CN]

It shows the plants blooming, like the Cape Sundew that stretches out its sticky and toxic leaves or the Venus Flytrap opening up its wide claw mouth.[CN]

In the behind-the-scenes video for this short film Mr Field said: 'I put over a year of effort into it. The actual filming took over 100 days, I think it was just under 110 days of non-stop filming, filming around the clock with two cameras triggering away the whole time.'[CN]
