Maybe they could program it to be polite and have some manners. I've lived in China for 8 months now and the local people are the most rudest, selfish, non chalant people I have ever come across in my life. Customer service is an alien concept here. It's a bloody disgrace.

When I was in China, especially in Shanghai and Hangzhou, everyone was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Pretty good in Beijing, too, but Hangzhou really stands out in my memory. Go visit if you haven't yet. But beware of cho tofu.
