I doubt those are real bricks, probably tiles or plastic cladding glued to Styrofoam, which was probably glued haphazardly to the building. Real brick veneer does blow off like that, but it doesn't stay in one sheet like that all the way to the ground. Many places discourage the use of full sized bricks that far up because of the danger it poses.[CN]
