You can bet the ties, glue and fixings came in bags with the best fake CE and quality approval etc stickers in the world. A friend goes almost daily to Shenzhen market where there are buckets of IC chips rejected by the factories and sold as scrap. They get soldered into products down back streets into dodgy phone chargers etc, packaged beautifully with the requisite fake stickers.

They're crap at everything they do. Everything's done on the cheap.

We should ban everything coming out of China as it just isn't safe. I try and not buy anything from China if I have an alternative.
