I lived in China for 3 years and these 1 child idiot adults have always been given everything they want because they are on only child. They are all like this. 1.3 billion uneducated farmers.
They never grew up and stop their feet (and jump up and down grabbing their parts) every time they do not get their way. Some are educated, but lack maturity.
Help? lol. That seldom happens here. I see it almost everyday and I'm not being sarcastic. and like Tab said, they'll use their phones and post it on their QQ, We chat or some local social networks more or so than Instagram (need VPN) lol...
To be fair the days where Americans saw wrongdoing and did something about it are at best in their sunset years. Now it's the bystander effect in every country you go to.
Agreed with you E.A, l lived in China 25 years and so happy and glad to be finally retired and go home. Have seen everything in China, how poor they are to becoming Rich and Arrogant. How they now behave when they travel overseas, loud and dirty people....looking at them overseas Chinese are ashamed to be called Chinese.....
I live in China now. Yeah, I understand how it works. It is getting better now, but they just have 100 excuses for everything to avoid responsibility. Ignoring problems and each other is part of how they avoid becoming crazy.
I TOTALLY understand you and I'm sorry for that as well. I feel disappointed in that. I really like China (I chose to live there.) It's a really nice country, but a lot of the people here are ruining it. I guess that's the same with everywhere though. America is not perfect.

I would hope that the man not only compensate her for her direct losses, but also for the loss of business due to the time spent dealing with this. They should be severely punished and probably will be.
I hope so too, but the sad truth is that, in most non-western countries, the street vendors are painfully poor, and the police tend to ignore their problems because of it.
We see a similar kind of thing in the U.S., but it usually involves the police not bothering to patrol the poorer areas of town & patrolling the wealthier sections, instead...yet they will still take action when called upon to do so by any citizen, regardless of income level.
How much time they bother to spend on the case seems pretty random, though.
I find these people to be the rudest on the planet earth. In my city, there are a lot of 'em. They all live together in the same neighborhood where I find their behavior to be detestable. They absolutely believe their lives to be more valuable than all others. That being the case, why come here and live among all of these so called American pigs in their words.
For many years Department of Justice employees have been getting away with stealing and embezzling from their suspects.
There is no other appropriate term than "organized crime".
Corrupt Department of Justice employees, mostly from the DEA and FBI, were fabricating evidence and extorting or stealing from their suspects.
Agents would target suspects with minor crimes, those under security/military background investigations and acquaintances of suspects and exaggerate or make up crimes. In return the corrupt agents would demand payment via an agreement to let the agents steal.
I refused to make payments or allow the stealing.
I called the San Francisco Attorney General's office to complain.
About two weeks later my dog was poisoned to death (the DEA is a pile of dog s**T), someone tried to burn down my house by loosening a gas fitting in my garage, death threats, more evidence fabricated, tampering with my car, used gang members to harass me, etc...
The FBI and DEA are corrupt. And it is not just a few bad apples. It happens in most major metro areas.
What she wouldn't dare admit is that these thugs made this as an excuse to collect protection money and the shop girl won't dare tell the police for retaliation from the other thugs that's what I think happend
Defeated? The way our deficit spending is going, China will own us outright in a couple of years. No conflict needed-just a team of lawyers versed in international law.

Catherine, why do you think a deficit with China is a bad thing? If you think that a deficit w/China isn't good, what are you personally doing about it?

Make them sit in silence for a couple weeks EVERYDAY while this woman sells her product with signs on them admitting to the low life #$%$ bag behavior while a video plays the event over and over and over! So be it!
That coward of a man needs to receive a good ol' fashioned #$%$ kicking finished off with a punch in the mouth.... Then pay for every last bun that the woman had prepared for that day. No need for an apology because he doesn't really mean it.
If he ever attempts that kind of behavior again, the penalty is tenfold.
This is the kind of thing that caneing is appropriate for. Remember the caning brouhaha in the 90s when an American hoodlum was going to be caned in Singapore. The same should happen to these two bullies.
