Quite right.. It's a GAME... Guy is stood doing his job and gets sucker punched by this coward... Hope he gets banned for life(including any coaching jobs) and goes to prison

Prison sentence.

Guy needs to be locked up and pay a huge fine to the ref. You cause someone harm then you should pay them big money and face a small sentence that will make people think twice about using a sneak coward attack to hit someone.

The coward sucker punched the referee. Is he walking free and if so why?

Of course he should be banned for life from all organized rugby leagues. I cant any valid argument against banning him

He should be banned from sport for life and receive a prison sentence for GBH. Thuggery has no place in sport although, unfortunately, some players - especially in football - get away with sailing pretty close to the wind because they are "valuable assets" to their clubs.

If you look closely, the player he started punching (No. 2) after he hit the Ref, was having none of it. He picked him up and slammed him to the floor. Nice one. Buy the guy a drink!

What a coward. The referee would never have expected that, so had no chance to defend himself. The caveman deserved to be stamped on until he was left with life changing injuries. Hopefully, the real hard men will take care of things, once the clown is sentenced to Prison.

Banned for life? That is nothing, that is blatantly assault, he should be arrested. Just because it was on a sports pitch makes no difference.
