Couple plague their neighbor with texts asking him to be silent EVERY time their baby has a nap - even when he's being quiet. So who's in the right?

He sounds like an extremely courteous neighbour, whereas they sound rude, unreasonable and actually quite worrying with their noise fixation. If they go the whole hog and get him evicted (they sound horrible enough to do it), I hope the new neighbour is 10 times worse - karma!

He should start complaining about the baby screaming -because I'm sure she does, she'd be abnormal if she didn't. A few hundred texts asking if they could please take her for a walk out or a drive in the car to settle her as her crying was disturbing HIS 'peaceful living' and they might pipe down. If she isn't sleeping well it's because of her neurotic parents, not any background noise. I have seen babies fast asleep inpush chairs being wheeled along behind the sound system lorries at Notting Hill carnival, with themusic so loud you can FEEL it in your rib cage.

Oh yeah. I get the pleasure of living above two dooseys. Smoke non stop. Have a huge Kujo st Bernard that now insists on barking pressing against door. Then they have the cajones to tell me to be quiet as I walk across myfloor! I'm 5'3 125 lbs. I would like to jazzersize at 230 am to really p them off. I've been stopped in the stairwell taking out my trash. I don't know how many times the massive 350lb dad has knocked on my door to say his"baby" 2yr old is napping at like 11am or any other odd time. Like 5pm & I'm just home from work. Oh and BTW neither has an outside job!

I was told by my mom to make as much noise as possible so my baby got used to it, he sleeps like a log even if there is noise, stupid woman.

It always seemed that my Harley-Davidson riding neighbor would start it up when I got my daughter down for a nap. Drove me crazy but I never texted him.

They must be new parents and no one ever told them that you have to introduce them to different noises. If you keep the house dead quite they will wake up at the drop of a pin. I made sure my babies and day care babies knew the noise of a vacume and tv so when they went home no small sound would startle them

Drumming in an apartment would be really annoying, however he sounds as if he went above and beyond when it came to accommodating them. The neighbors seem like jerks. I have a neighbor who is a night owl and gets very loud after 10pm. She and her boyfriends get quite amorous and it's really, REALLY annoying. I now stress out when I see her car at home as I realize it's likely I won't get any sleep.

His neighbours sound like a pair of nutters. They don't know how lucky they are to have him. My neighbours have a dog that barks all through the night because they put the poor thing in a cage overnight.

Yet when they take their screaming kid out in a public place they want everyone to understand and be nice when it ruins other people's day. Many people should be sterilised at birth...

Babies need to be raised with the sounds of their environment ... else they become over sensitive to the slightest noise.
