Kurdsish forces are not innocent. They are drug runners, they bomb, execute and assassinate just like ISIS.

The kurdish fight against ISIS should be supported and applauded by all the world leaders it should also be kept separate from any other Kurdish conflict involving other countries until they eradicate this filth only then can other issues be addressed..kat.

kat the kurdish are only fighting because they want the land for themselves, how hard is it to understand that?

Until they start coming here with their medieval religious practices. Kurds are among the worst for that.

Si Nick, you're right. Understanding the why's of why these people chose to live in the Middle Ages and yet fight with modern day weapons and wear Nikes and T-shirts and then want to infiltrate a modern society just to knock it down by a thousand years is difficult to comprehend.

The Kurds only fighting ISIS because they wanted that land on the border with Turkey for themselves, not for the sake of love and peace. Shame Turkey thwarted their plans!

the story is telling us isis was a safe transit country for isis. and they stood around waiting for kobane to be massacred. great allies.

The Turks only have one aim - to prevent the Kurds establishing their own homeland
[ 0 ] [ 0 ]
SphinxReply toArathorn
Exactly--and the Kurds have been the only effective force.

Little Red CourgetteReply toArathorn
The Turks love ISIS, they supply them, allow them safe passage, even treat their injured soldiers in Turkish hospitals before returning them. The Turks trade with them, buying their oil and selling them weapons. They were not attacking ISIS, they were just taking the territory won by the Kurds.

MrPrytaniaReply toArathorn
'after IS withdrew from them, ending IS's presence... on the border.' So they didn't really knock them out but rather took over the power vacuum.

This could have been done years ago, Turkey is playing dirty political games, the Kurds should start stockpiling weapons and supplies because Turkey will start a war with them, in fact the west should arm the Kurds with advanced weapons and give them full western backing in every field....
[ 0 ] [ 0 ]
Tim StubbinsReply toVillain1874
So you want NATO countries to arm and finance the Kurds so they can attack a NATO member then.
[ 0 ] [ 0 ]
Villain1874Reply toVillain1874
Yes... The Kurds deserve our full support...Turkey is acting in its so called own interests and so should we, the Kurds are better friends to us than the Turks are...
[ 0 ] [ 0 ]
blackspotReply toVillain1874
Let's get this straight, Kurds whom you all are refering to are not real kurds, they already exist of western militants and speaking of which real kurds live in south of Turkey for centruies. See the truth England
[ 0 ] [ 0 ]
Villain1874Reply toVillain1874
Blackspot the Kurds should have their own country and they should be able to live in peace free from oppression and fear just like every other people...See the truth doesn't hurt...
[ 0 ] [ 0 ]
blackspotReply toVillain1874
Villain1874 Things you you know about this tolpic is not like goaling own freedom or independency. Kurds are a part of Turkey already and Kurdish citizens of Turkey don't complain of that. Only complainers who don't want Turkey to stay in peace are not Kurdish, they'd just like to mess around Turkey, yeah what a dilemma

i give up
IS are a side issue to the Turks. All they're interested in is wiping out the group that has been doing all the real fighting against IS. And that's the Kurds.

The Kurds did all the heavy fighting against ISIS when the Turks were playing footsy under the table with ISIS. I am very suspicious of the Turks incursion into Syrian territory.

To support a war with no industrial base, an awful lot of military equipment and supplies for ISIS, must have been passing through Turkey. How come they never noticed?
[ 0 ] [ 0 ]
Knowledgeseeker13Reply toRocio
I believe most of ISIS supplies and equipment were captured from over run military installations in Iraq and Syria. There are no iSIS convoys passing through Turkey that I'm aware of. Just man power but that had slowed drastically. ISIS cannot fight forever because they do not have the capability to manufacture military equipment and continuously supply their front lines. Their days are obviously numbered.

The HYPOCRITE unholy trio Clinton-Kerry-Obama Jr. failed in their cöup in Libya, then failed in their cöup in Syria, then tried to do to Erdogan in Turkey what they did to Morsi in Egypt, with Kerry flying to Moscow 24 hours before their failed cöup in Turkey. Then bag man Biden flew to Turkey 24 hours before the theatrical Syrïa ïnvasion by Turkey with $2.1 billion to buy Erdogan`s silence. None of the aforementioned having anything to do with America`s best interests.

He isn't the President. And all this has been done under Obama -- and without causing yet another phoney war the treasury can't afford. Trump isn't coming for anyone unless he learns something about internal politics and geopolitics and loses some lard. He's a fake.
