An extra 25 years? With the current obesity epidemic, that means 25 more years of pain, complications and surgeries for most people, and where is the money going to come from to support them?Whinging_Worker
Not a great time to invent something that could make us live longer. There are grave concerns about pensions already.Tigresser
People in their 70s and 80s now grew up on wholesome unprocessed food...i don't think younger generation will live as long.LindaReply toTigresser
Great comment and so true. Today's computer gaming couch potatoes hardly ever play out in the street - as a kid I remember playing games and running wild in the fresh air. Kids now if outside seem to play unstructured, no idea of child games - which teach cooperation and discipline with others.......now, they are in their own little world. I actually feel deeply sorry for them, and such as Bill Gates have ruined childhood with their addictive junk which needs constant expensive upgrading. I don't want to be really old in a world like this.SAMSUNG for 2017
There are some risks doing this study although it sounds very exciting that it's able to add a few more decades of lifespan by average. However, I believe this is not the only way to rejuvenate a human in a bid to slow down the aging. I think that nano-robots will be a key should one wish to live much longer. Also environmental impact may change the lifespan.Aunt JasmineRoseReply toVeronica Essex
I used to think 80 is enough. Now I'm 60 I've gained some insights ( didn't have it 20 yrs. ago). Keeping this physical body system in good shape is key. Age is really a number and each person's overall well being doesn't always reflect that number.
