New cell treatment could help us live a THIRD longer: Life expectancy could leap to 108 with controversial cell rejuvenation technique

For many years they'll charge people a fortune for the treatment, so that only the rich will be able to afford it.

For goodness sake dot tell the government they think us o a p s are living to long now ,

Do we really want to live longer, or just better?

Live to 108 but work till you are 100 - sounds wonderful eh?

Please no! The retirement age will rise to 95....

Not live longer, but happier and look young til I die. I would want my mom , and other loved ones to live longer.

ive noticed Kissinger Rockefeller etc living to huge ages ..why .. they already apply improvements to themselves ,,not for the ordinary person they dont want you alive at all once u reach past the slave age

I don't want to live 30 years longer. But I'd like my last 30 (50-80ish) to be like 20-50ish. Now that would be worth the research.

More time to wait for Brexit, we might just see it when we are 108.

Hide it from government! They put the retirement age up much more and the only drop in unemployment figures will come from deaths from old age!

What they don't tell you is you'll need to work for 40 years longer to be able to pay for the treatment to make you live another 20 years

You'd have to up the retirement age to 92.

Only if I was happy, healthy, fully compos mentis, mobile and not a burden on anybody!

It'll never happen here we can't even afford the pensions for our pensioners now.

I don't want to live to be a hundred and odd, I just want to look forward to an old age pension that I can live on, and decent health care when I need it.

Will that mean that council tax will have to double to cope?

The way cancer is increasing we will be lucky to reach old age. That's not me being negative, there has been a huge increase since the 1980s.

Prolonging life by a third? Just remember, it`s not the bit at the end of our life we want more of, it`s the bit just before the middle.
