We need to learn more about this. Imagine if another one visits Earth and instead of Siberia, it hits the UK...Here_we_go_again
Mystery? No - meteor exploding around a mile above the forest. Well documented and proven....Jonathan Frame
it was caused by an air burst from a disintegrating meteorite. That's why there was no impact crater to be found.foghorn leghorn
Todays satellite images should still show the orientation of the fallen trees, if you have a circular pattern this would indicate an explosion high in the atmosphere if you have a lateral orientation this would indicate an object glancing blow causing a massive sonic boom felling the trees as it entered the atmosphere before the object carried on back out into space.petefunker
There was no pattern to the downed trees? They all look to be in alignment. If there was a circular pattern, they should have been able to identify the epicenter. Well, off to the Google machine with me...!Deanna
I'd like to add another potential candidate: Nikola Tesla! ------- He would have been 52 in 1908, and was an absolute genius. There are rumours that an experiment of his was responsible for Tunguska --- look it up!
