Who is doing the fear mongering, those aiming their weapons at innocent members of the populace in the name of their extreme ideology or the media reporting the facts? I'm not afraid to read the news, just afraid of lunatics with hatred in their hearts and weapons in their hands.pinhead
Bit OTT if you ask me. When your time is up it is up, if ISIS doesn't get you then you will die another way.wee Katy
Waste of tax money, I'd be raving if that happened here, all them bobbies, out on the beat, dosing about, scoffing greggs, getting paid a fortune, no, not with my money you ain't fellas, no, not on my watchalfey99
I am deleting my Mail app. This paper is ridiculous, hyping up situations, creating hatred. It is really irresponsible.Nigel Loves the EU
The DM's hysteria continues, preying on the fact that a lot of it's readers won't be there to witness what is going on. Bit like yesterdays carnage at Calais article that got mysteriously pulled. Would that be because it was made up? There's been soldiers on the streets for ages down there. It's not the doom and gloom it's made out to be.TheShadowReply toNigel Loves the EU
Idiot! You are aware that many people have died in France in recent weeks and months, hardly a paper causing hysteria is it. If your that annoyed with the DM why bother reading it and commenting. Your name keeps appearing in EU articles, your as delusional as merkel and the rest of the unelected lot that run the EU.Bradley_Steven
I once bought a chicken and it laid and egg and then I went to make my breakfast the next morning but made coco pops and forgot all about the eggs!! It was mental!!Bonnie Langford
Daily Mail doing it's best to ruin France. Please stop believing the drivel it produces. It should be held accountable for it's lies and deceit. The reporting during the Nice attack was vile. Publishing tweets as reality, making up stories and generally contributing nothing but lies.HarleyReply toWorking Man
P90X3, what a load of poop. To quote the Bank of Canada, they are "running experiments with the nation¿s lenders on interbank payment systems using distributed ledgers to better understand the technology. The central bank has no plans to issue any digital currency for public use, Senior Deputy Governor Carolyn Wilkins said in an e-mailed statement". If I can understand these statements, why can't you? It's very straightforward & written in plain English.P90X3Reply toWorking Man
@Harley - and you believe them? They're hardly going to tell you the whole story right away, are they? Do you just believe everything you are told, without questioning it? You should look at alternative news sources sometimes, rather than relying on mainstreammedia sources which may not always reflect reality. They rely on people accepting what they say and believing it.Jack

Daily Mail spreading propaganda, again... Not saying what has happened in France lately isn't bad but Daily Mail doesn't help paint the situation well when they make it out to be a war-ridden country!Niggle Farridge
The DM has an agenda which is obvious over the last 2 days, article including, ferry queues, this one, saying cornwall is sub tropical... they are trying to make people stay in the UK. Well, no, i will go to france next month while you embrace the rain and wind.P90X3
Looks nice and relaxing, I think I'll go there. They're overplaying it a bit now with the scare tactics, they never seem to realise that they would be more convincing if they weren't so OTT. Ouote from Josef Stalin: "The easiest way to gain control of a population is to carry out acts of terror. The public will clamor for such laws if their personal security is threatened". This is what this whole thing is about.
