In reality, this is modern slavery. A slave is someone with few rights and a minimum wage to cover a bed and a meal a day. And effectively, this is what these workers get. So we have reinvented slavery. As Rhet Butler said in Gone With the Wind: "An empty belly is the same as a leg-shackle".

Looks equally as c r ap as working in one of our factories or warehouses. That kind of work doesnt make anyone happy, it pays the bills though.

And the CEO, Cook, had the gall to go on tv and claim that the only reason APPLE used China vs US was that we didn't have the workers. I guess he was right-- Americans wouldn't stand for this kind of nonsense. Yessiree APPLE has your best interests at heart

i used to work years ago in a factory and that was bad enough,god they ruled by fear,if any one of them spoke out it they would be marched straight to the gate and told your life here no longer exists,no way do i want that sort of factory over here,what an awful existance

I saw these first few pictures and I thought of Battery Hens only in Human Form.

That workplace looks like a nightmare... I doubt Apple's bosses would want to work anywhere like that so why force such conditions on others?! Just evil and greed really, they are a rich enough company to create a decent workplace for people.

The future for Europe when TTIP comes in, that is why it is so secret. The PLEB is seen as nothing but a worthless device to be worked to death. There are plenty more when one dies from being overworked.

It's not as bad as it looks. They do get tea breaks; every Thursday, I believe.

I know some techies who have to visit that facility. They call it "Mordor".

think, in fact I know IF it came to working like this ,I would just walk away and live the rest of my life off the land!!
