ISNT APPLE AN AMERICAN COMPANY? WHAT DO THE AMERICAN WORKERS THINK ABOUT THEIR JOBS BEING DONE IN CHINA,Paul Hollywood
At one time owners of large corporations were happy being millionaires, now they want to be billionaires, and soon it will be trillionaires.PadraigMac

Looks like a modern-day sIavery in china, no one is smiling. Now I feel guilty for owning MacBook & iPhone :(Jamiesonn
the modern era of slavery. what a shame, i feel like throwing my iPhone in the bin now seeing this. Thanks for readingReply toJamiesonn
Modern slavery - exactly what I thought, Jamieson. The degradation of such a working life. These people are a "human resource" to make Western global corporations even more money. And Obama, the greatest US snake oil salesman, has come to Europe to tell the "human market" to buy American. If I had an iPhone, I would donate it to someone in China. Globalization seems to be one giant human consumption machine. It makes me feel queasy. Remember "The Matrix" films?MalcolmRReply torobin123
You have to be joking, George. The estimated cost of an i-phone to produce is $6 - according to the WTO and G20. You don't seriously believe that the sell price is in any way related to the costs of production. Here's another one - estimated cost of an X-Box? $8.
