Is this killing for killing sake or do the animals provide food / resource for the people of the Faroes. If they just kill them and do not have a use for the whales then it needs to be stopped.

We should stop any trade and business dealings with this country if we have any. We should also encourage any other countries we can form doing any business with them too until this practice is stopped.

I personally find it abhorrent but of the european countries complaining - Spanish bullfighting and French farming and cuisine?

Just tragic and barbaric. The Faroese are basically ISIS to whales. They must be so proud of themselves.

Very bad - till kill whole families of whales mothers carrying young - very grim - the problem is these people have been doing it from child hood and are not seeing the pain and suffering they are causing - we should randomly email people in the islands or on FB and tell them how appalling their behaviour is and we should protest to their government - they do not own these animals they belong to the world and are just passing through their waters - we demand safe passage.

This is an archaic practice while it was historical for the islands, it has no place in today's world but I also think why don't we have the same rhetoric from the EU with Spain and the bull rights and street bull runs?
