I'm afraid he is correct , just look at the EU , they control 27 countries , even make their laws etc , they all have to adopt the euro pay into the club to keep it going , when they give money to a failing country or poor country it has to pay back at an exorbitant rate , all the unelected officials are paid massive salaries and spend money wastefully without account , its all about greed .

The reason people voted Brexit is that they did not want to be chained to a sinking corpse. The 'remain' camp had plenty of opportunity to convince us of the virtues of the Political Union but failed miserably - nothing to do with sharing wealth, as multi millionaire Hawkins suggests.

This division of wealth is nothing new for the human race, yet we are still here . Overpopulating the earth at an exponential rate and continuing to consume finite resources and natural habitats however are more serious concerns.

People are obsessed with material possessions, rather than the true riches of life.

Pessimistic about our species future? If humans died out I'm sure the rest of the planet's flora and fauna would (if they could) give thanks.

Selfishness and our inability to do what's best for our survival and the planet will end up being our downfall. I just can't see man surviving the next thousand years.
