At this point our 'leaders' have already fatally destroyed our country. At this point its just matter of finding a nice seat as we gradually sink under the waves of total cultural, social and economic callapse.

What is funny though is that all Western problems all boils down to greed / money.....Their obsession for money knows no limit....Bringing c heap l abour from 3 rd Wo rld, buying cheap trinkets from still the 3 rd World, selling their jewels to the highest bidders, you name it....

Just Greed? What about all the hating in general. There is hardly any community spirit left and youngsters can't even get out of their room, spending their whole life on the computer. If it was down to this lot there would be NOTHING left.

Whilst the millions go to work , and then have to support the millions who do not work , but only breed , of course the World will be destroyed .

The article is not just about wealth; it also touches on the fact that the rift between being able to annihilate ourselves or not has increased exponentially since the last century. Yes greed and power have been around a long time; couple these with capitalism and arms increases and the goal posts have moved enabling humanity to kick a home goal quicker and easier than ever before - one with a mushroom cloud or perhaps biologically worse.
