The bone being encased in gold and silver does not mean it is genuinely part of Buddha's remains, only that it was thought to be. There are so many of Buddha's teeth in existence that if they are all genuine Buddha had a head the size of a crocodile

You're wrong, Donkeycong. Many so-called relics of the Buddha are enshrined in highly elaborate caskets, stupas and temples.

The Buddha gave up everything. He was a prince and very rich, he gave it all up. He would NOT have Wanted this memory

A Zen master once said to me, ¿Do the opposite of whatever I tell you.¿ So I didn't.

I'm sure Siddhartha Gautama would have reminded us all that becoming obsessed with his remains was just a form of attachment that detracts from following the path.

The problem I have is remaining unattached to practising unattachement.
