Unfortunately, becoming US president takes A LOT of money, and the only way to get that is to do deals with people who have lots of it. That will always mean losing integrity along the way, because they inevitably end up putting the interests of a few very wealthy people / companies above those of the majority of voters.

@NYStateofMind We here in Texas are very awake. I live less than a mile from where those innocent police officers were brutally murdered in Dallas. I have friends that earn their living ranching cattle by the southern border that have seen their cattle slaughtered and pasture fences destroyed from the drug runners and illegals flooding into this country. Trump may be an egotistical maniac but he at least pretends to care about our police officers and the crime occurring in our border towns and cities. These are 2 issues that have hit too close to home for me. Seeing people at the Democratic convention burning our American flag, waving Mexican flags and insulting our police officers really makes me want to vote for Trump even more.

I don't like the bloke and I find some of the comments regarding him funny but at the end of the day there are millions who do agree with him and want him as the next US president. time to get used to it.. Clinton might be the best thing for the country to bring stability but there are a lot of people in America which still will not vote for her just because of her gender.
