I know some people are nervous that an alien race might want to wipe us out. Don't worry, us humans are pretty handy with weapons ourselves. We specialize in mass extinction. Just ask the thousands of terrestrial species we have eliminated with our so-called "progress."

Why? We are already destroying our planet, we don't need to destroy another one. If they're out there, leave them be.

Do these Scientist know who they are inviting to our planet? There are billions type of aliens in this our galaxy alone lets forgets the rest of the other billons of galaxy's. I wonder at which stage of evolutions are all those aliens planet out there. Dear Scientists please think again, there is big change we can endup in their dinner plate. I've sort of already been of the belief that they already know we are here?? We know they exist, so surely they know we exist. Aren't Alien sightings in the sky them coming to suss us out? I agree with everyone though, we should leave this alone and not try and make contact.

Don't do it. Bad idea. If they are more advanced and had the desire to communicate with us, they would have already done it.

Stupid idea, All living things move and search for resources, water, food etc.... Aliens will be looking at us as a next meal ticket. If they are capable of travelling here, they will be more advanced and we will be wiped out. We as a planet should not be inviting extra danger by shouting out to Aliens that lunch is ready, when we are on the menu.

Not a good idea, not everything out there might have good intentions. It's like putting a notice on your door when your on holiday saying your out.

I don't understand the need to contact anything that's out there. They will either be dependant or deadly. We can't even expect our own race not to be one of those things
