I was always under impression that we already sent messages. You learn something new every day.

We already sent a lot of signs from our planet. We are transmitting on every range of frequencies since the first years of the twentieth century. These signals are travelling all over the universe. If there were somebody out there we should have an answer sooner or later, but I think it'll be very difficult.

"Target coordinates confirmed, my Lord!" "Very good, Commander. Order the fleet ot make the jump to light-speed!" Let's be sure that we can handle and rowdy visitors before we turn on the 'Open for Business' sign, hmmm?

We've been sending messages since the very first radio and tv broadcasts. Whoever might be listening will get those first.

They've been sending signals out for decade....nothing new here. there are massive listening stations all around the world.
