Western women always expect acknowledgement for things other women around the world have done from time in memorial.

Why not give birth in another public place? Let's say on a public beach, in the sea?

So the poor baby went from warm amniotic fluid, to freezing cold stream water in seconds. Selfish woman, intent on living her 'me me me' life. No thought to the shock it caused her baby.

I was fine with this till the placenta smoothie cz too far for me personally.

So irresponsible! As a midwife anything could have happened. No monitoring of the baby, the baby could have got stuck. You are very lucky that you had a live baby!!

I want to give birth in a five star hotel with qualified Dr's on hand. It would never enter my mind to squat in a stream. You're a hippy dippy if you do that.

You can be one with nature and still not share it with the world. That is the path that I recommend in the future.

She didn't even give birth in the stream...she gave birth on a rubber mat....what's the point? her 15 mins I guess?

I am offended she put her bodily fluids into this beautiful rainforest stream. Totally selfish and unnecessary.

Her choice to give birth in this manner but the 'look at me' thing is wearing a bit thin these days. Some women and babies have no choice but to be in hospital.

What about infection from the water she's sitting in immediately after giving birth?
