I agree with his view that man should explore space. But his view that man will go extinct in a 1000 years should be taken with a pinch of salt. They've been saying that for the last 5000 years. If it wasnt for advances in medicine etc in the last 50 years, he wouldnt be alive today. Mankind is resilient, inventive and stubborn and doom merchants need to take a back seat

You know the thing about evolution... Is that descendents of humans living on other planets will evolve into entirely different species that are likely not to consider themselves human or even perceive other life forms to be threats to their dominance and monopolies.... Humans must live, evolve and die on earth.

He's got an opinion like any other human. However, he dosent know what lies in 1000 years to come, therefore he's just another conspiracy nobody needs to hear.

The man knows something about survival, but I think he's wrong on this account. Our thoughts and intentions dictate how our future unravels, so if we intend to be here we will.
