China Successfully Tests Hypersonic Weapon System

Do not be too alarmed. The US doesn't spend the most on it's military for nothing. The weapons we're truly investing in, when completed, will render the projectile weapons of all other nations obsolete. Of course I'm referring to directed energy weapons; the US Navy's railgun, and the high-powered laser. All of which make supersonic, hypersonic projectiles moot. Also nobody knows where the Ohio-class boomers are, that'll always be our ace in the hole.

When American dropped two A bombs on Japan, the targets were not military at all. The intent was to kill as many Japanese civilians as possible in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. China will never try to destroy the US arsenal but its hypersonic wmds will be unstoppable in annihilating densely populated cities like San Francisco.

One problem, all we have is their word. As we saw with Russia during the cold war, what they claimed to have done, and what really happened were so much at odds with one another, one would seem like a work of fiction compared to the truth.

I'm not worried about the Chinese #$%$. Their technologies are decades behind ours.
