It is sickening that people are celebrating the Matador being mauled. People who do these things like bull-fighting only have these jobs. They risk themselves every time just for feeding themselves. Think of what his family might be going through. You people will be outraged if the bull died instead, and I won't blame you. You are justified. But you're celebrating a human being killed and that is completely unjustified. It's not the bull's fault but the fighter didn't deserve to die. You people are completely sick. I hope the matador rests in peace, condolences to his family and friends as well.

The fighter chose to participate - the bull didn't. There are plenty of other 'jobs' these people could choose to do.

He knew the risks, he went in eyes open.. I don't feel sorry for him, that bull didn't go in there with a fair chance.. He was dead either way.. Reap what you sow

People are not sick, they have compassion for an animal who was goaded and tormented and had no choice in what was happening, the matador however ,knew exactly what he was doing. This barbaric practice needs to be outlawed.

I am Irish and Mexican and I love seeing you Limeys and Spaniards go at it. I can trace my family to Olvera Spain so I guess I am one of those garlic smelling people and proud of it. I do like a good fish and chips too though and I do see a lot of bad teeth on you Brits. Rest assured I don't hate all of you and I don't love all the Spanish either. I do however live bullfighting.

Shows the crazy world we live in when people are more concerned about an animal over a human being ....regardless of the circumstances
[ 0 ] [ 0 ]
YooooooohoooooooooReply toeklmj
Think you've got things wrong here? It's not about 'more concern over an animal than a human'. It's about someone being involved in a barbaric and medieval sport and taking the consequences when they are doled out to them, which is no different to the animal. Why do we have to kill an animal in the name of 'sport'? And if the human dies why should be expect to be treated any differently?! What century are you living in?! And what a silly statement you make!

Maybe because their lives are just as valuable as ours and definitely more so than the person inflicting this sort of cruelty on the bull. Animals in general are far better than humans, rather see him dead as opposed to the bull

Not that they were much better under Saddam and Gaddafi and of course the UK did not intervene in Syria against Assad only against ISIS when they started beheading hundreds of Syrians

Arcadian46Reply tojose antonio
Jose, war is not a sport. If you think about the big picture, the aggressive expansion that has been going on for four teen hund red years, any current intervention is a continuation of the attempt to prevent this expansion, a need to keep a lid on it and on events taking place there. Nothing will stop it except brute force, you know that, and you cannot appeal to their reasonableness because there is none, they are driven by a longing to conquer. You should know because Spain was occupied by them for five hundred years and they are demanding 'their' country back. Are they not already pouring in? who will help you? Your foolish statement about Britons is risible, men gave their lives and you mock them. Not all campaigns work out for the best, humans are fallible but the West is in a war against a foe who hates those who are not like them. War is necessary to prevent the spread of evil.

Let's see how tough this bull is when he comes face to face with a saltwater croc. Salties can way upward of 2500lbs and eat animals bigger than bulls for breakfast. I have personally witnessed salties eating great white sharks just for fun...and that was just dessert. Salties are the kings of the water - fresh or saline. They are the numero uno apex predator.
