Oh here we go. More Bla Bla and philosophical gems from the none believers. They are as zealous as missionaries in their efforts to get us to join the Atheists crede. Sorry but I have enough religion in my life as Catholic. I'm not interested in replacing it thanks.

Barget no reply probably because they've done what most of us do comment and get on with our lives! In this context the writer probably means they're a Roman Catholic. They have very similar beliefs to most other Christian denominations but there are differences. Look it up on the net or ask different church leaders from their respective dominations.

A lot of evidence to sugegst Christ was actually born in a house belonging to one of Josephs friends and the connotations to being born in a barn are simply from stylised adaptations in the 1300's by Catholic Priests - and that came from a Vicker!

By their fruits - works, actions - you will know them, and whom they serve and worship. If there is 'proof to be had', that is where you'll find it. Just look.

@Grandma ........ "Faith" is what the naive and gullible are forced to substitute for the lack of evidence and proof.......... If you were taken to court and the judge said " I will not utilise evidence, demand proof and thereby seek the truth in order to decide whether you are guilty, I will instead have 'faith' in either your guilt or your non-guilt, based on personal whim", it would be my guess that you would no longer see FAITH as the best path to TRUTH.

'Part of a project which uses 360 video to bring the bible to life'. Th irony of using science (logic and evidence) to show the bible stories.

It may or may not have been the site of Jesus' birth, but I know for a fact the wise men did NOT visit the new baby there, as the Bible records they "came in and found the babe (not baby) SITTING on his mother's lap." Scholars believe it was almost 2 years before the wise men finally completed their journey after the star first appeared the night of Jesus' birth.People will embrace every religion, but they want to ban and outlaw Christianity, why? What is so offensive? You can be a non-believer if you choose, it's your soul, not mine, so why do you want to abolish my right to believe? The fact there are so many anti-Christians who hate us makes me realize the Bible is true and Jesus Christ is real.

I was reading about the concept of this being a "post christian" world. the loss of the primacy of a christian world view in political affairs. The world has moved away from Christian values, and towards greater secularism and nationalism. some people may think that a good thing - others don't. for those that believe the end of days are coming, it is a sign to them that that is to come. And incidentally, you have the right to believe, no one has the right to say you don't.

All completely wrong of course. All the early Aramaic and Greek gospeI manuscripts say 'Bethania', which is specifically said to be 'beyond the Jordan'. Bethany was only chosen because it is conveniently close to JerrusaIem. And it also separated Bethania from the rebbeIs who fled to Pella 'beyond the Jordan' after Jesus' revvoIt failed. (Do remember that Jesus was jaiiIed alongside revvoIutionaries "who had committed muurrder in the revvoIution" as it says in Mk 15:7. Jesus was no peacenik, he was a revvoIutionary.)

Jesus was all about peace. Just because others chose to react to His teachings means nothing about Him. He came in peace, loving, caring, and, showing people the way. It was the people around Him, men, with wicked thoughts and hearts, that chose to act violently and reject the Word of Truth. Wide is the path and narrow is the Road, and only a few will find it.

Looks a classy place for a barn with straw and sheep to hang out during the birth? keep looking, I think they picked the wrong pad!

Christmas is a primarily Christian celebration, why not play nice for a few days and show them a little seasonal good will. Nobody keeps banging on endlessly about how the non existent atheist god does not exist.
[ 0 ] [ 0 ]
EndApostropheAbuseReply toLeeW
An "A-theist" is, quite simply, a person who does not accept as true, claims that god (s) exist. Atheist means "not theist". ........... A person who writes things such as "the non-existant atheist god", even to make a daft point, exhibits extraordinary ignorance of the subject and a paucity of intellectual capacity that nobody should voluntarily expose to others.

well, its not just any old stable is it? If it really is where Jesus was born then of course it will be a shrine.
[ 0 ] [ 0 ]
DarknlovelyReply toDarknlovely
No, Bellabanana, it shouldn't have become a shrine because if God wanted Jesus to be born in a palace he would have made it so. This is nothing but idolatry.

More like it flushes the aethists out, who seem to think ridicule will make people go away. Not even Henry Vlll, along with Stalin and Mao managed that one. For 2000 years various despots have tried to eradicate faith in Jesus Christ and they have failed. It'll take more than the liberal left wing army to try to do the same.

And what is the true meaning of Christmas? Jesus wasn't born in December, Christmas was only invented to get the pagans on board who celebrated winter. But what do I know, it is only history. A Christmas tree and shiny balls are pagan symbols.

Why the interest in Jesus in the media, you think it's just because of Christmas? NAH. Jesus is about to become useful to the establishment again. They're rebranding him. He will no longer be "Son of Man". In the coming hoax Alien threat they'll edit the Genesis story for the new religion they're creating. The fallen angels/Nephilim/Giants will be renamed good aliens from Mars, hence the fake Pyramids photo NASA circulated to the masses as part of its imaginary "C over-up", and God will be bad aliens from beyond who caused the flood to stop our civilisation developing. The new order creating threat will be of course the bad aliens return for the flood Mk 2.Where does Jesus come into all this? Well they've got to drag Christians willingly into the new order where god is a bad guy, how? Jesus is going to be renamed an Alien Human Hybrid saviour created by the Good Aliens. How? The spear of Longinus will be "accidently" discovered soon, then "anomalies" in the fake DNA test LOL

ZARD0ZReply toZARD0Z
Who knows, they may even claim to have cloned Jesus in 20 years and they'll give you a "scientific" resurrection to go with the rest of their B S new age religion. After all they need to find their "supernatural" one world leader that'll pull the wool over the eyes of the masses. Obey, Jesus V2.00 says so, will be a novel approach
