I know many people think it's beautiful but I just think yuk! Yes life is a miracle and all that and I admire all the doctors and midwives who safely deliver babies every day but i wish u hadn't have clicked that video especially as I'm pregnant!

What if something had gone wrong. Obviously thinking of her own fame and glory on YouTube rather than the risk to her baby.

Well if she wanted do do this, and everything went alright, then why not, it was up to her alone..!!!

Good for her. Glad it went well. If something had happened to the baby would she have been prosecuted though?

Women used to give birth alone because they didn't know any better & the death rate was as high as 75% for both mother & baby. I am not a fan of hospital births these days due to risk of hospital acquired infection. However, I can not support home births that don't even allow a midwife to attend to them. That places undue risk on the unborn child. They have no choice in the matter

If that's what she wanted that was her choice after all people have been giving birth that was for thousands of years. The bit I can't get my head around is why would any one then upload the video to the internet for the world to see.

So irresponsible! As a midwife anything could have happened. No monitoring of the baby, the baby could have got stuck. You are very lucky that you had a live baby!!
